La Crosse County Bar Association Legal Clinic
The clinic operates on a question-and-answer format where participants have about 15 minutes to ask questions of volunteer attorney. Topic areas include family law, financial problems, landlord/tenant, criminal/traffic, employment, and other matters. All questions are answered in the most confidential manner possible.
The clinic is staffed by volunteer attorneys from the La Crosse County Bar Association. Members of the La Crosse Chapter of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin also provide assistance.
Referrals to other agencies or resources may be made. The La Crosse County Free Legal Clinic helps people help themselves.
