Jefferson County Veterans Service Office
The Jefferson County Veterans Service Office's (CVSO) assists veterans in securing benefits from both the Wisconsin and the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs. They help applicants establish eligibility for both State and Federal Veterans programs. The CVSO provides applications for VA Hospital care, processes claims (disability, pension, death, dependent), and can help locate military service records. If warranted, the CVSO will assist a veteran with filing a claim for disability in connection with their active military service.
All VA-accredited representatives are authorized to provide help with VA benefit claims to Veterans and service members, as well as their dependents and survivors. An accredited VSO representative can help you gather evidence, file a claim, or request a decision review. And they can communicate with the VA on your behalf.
