Brown County Veterans Service Office
The Brown County Veterans Service Office (CVSO) connects veterans, their dependents, and survivors to their earned benefits to improve the quality of their lives. The office connects them to a wide range of federal and state benefits to include VA Healthcare, service disability Compensation for injuries incurred in the service and Pensions that assist in offsetting medical expenses. The office also assists them in applying for over fifty-five different kinds of benefits that are available.
A well-trained and VA-accredited staff assists in providing information on the benefits, strategizing on how to maximize those benefits, and then assists in completing the complicated claims forms, obtaining medical opinions from local providers, and managing and tracking the claim from inception to completion. This can include filing for appeals up to the Board of Veterans Appeals in Washington D.C. We also assist in obtaining necessary service personnel and medical military records as well as private medical records to support those claims.
