Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore - Manitowoc

Visit Website

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Lakeshore serves Kewaunee and Manitowoc Counties. With many public and private assistance programs available, it can get confusing for people to understand programs such as the many parts of Medicare, Medical Assistance, Social Security Retirement and Disability benefits, Medicare Supplement Insurance, Food Share, as well as other legal, housing and financial assistance programs.

Benefit Specialists are advocates who can take the mystery out of the benefit programs and help cut through the ‘red tape’ which can be a barrier when trying to understand if you’re eligible for public programs.  They can also assist if you have been denied benefits and need to appeal a decision.  They help negotiate with public agencies, medical offices, or insurance companies to resolve problems.
