Aging and Disability Resource Center of Buffalo and Pepin Counties - Pepin
At the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Buffalo and Pepin Counties, Disability Benefit Specialists and Elder Benefit Specialists provide services regarding public and private benefits. The benefit specialists can help determine which benefits you may be entitled to and help you fill out applications. They may discuss appeals related to denials of eligibility, termination of benefits, or overpayment of public or private benefits. Benefit specialists can also provide referrals, assistance, and support on other matters including disability rights and the impact of earnings on financial eligibility for public benefits.
The issues a benefit specialist can assist with include: Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), FoodShare, private insurance, housing, and utility issues.

Fees
There is no charge for the services but persons assisted by the program are encouraged to make a donation. All donated funds will be used to expand the Benefit Specialist Program.

How to Get Service
The ADRC offers in-person assistance through office appointments or home visits. Although walk-ins are welcome, they prefer people to call ahead and schedule an appointment. You can also contact them via phone, e-mail (ADRC-BP@Co.Pepin.WI.US), regular mail, facebook, or their website.

You can see a Disability benefit specialist if you:
